I was born in March of 1982 and I've lived in the Flemish part of Belgium all my life. I'm a licensed translator (Dutch - English - Italian) who enjoys board games, the company of friends, playing the guitar, playing American pool and well yes, the occasional Belgian beer every now and then! I'm also secretly addicted to cashew nuts, but don't tell anyone!

I first discovered stevia in 2010, when a local news site reported on its imminent approval by the European Union. I had never heard of the sweet leaf before, like I'm sure few people have - especially here in Europe. But the idea of an all-natural sweetener, many times sweeter than sugar, that also boasts a whole array of health benefits? Now that was something I was going to research more thoroughly!

Sure enough, not long after I discovered an online shop in the Netherlands, I bought my first batch of stevia products, still continually educating myself on stevia rebaudiana in the meantime.

I bought books, read everything about the sweet leaf that I could find online, and before I knew it, I was hooked! Shocked and appalled by the sad story of stevia and its struggle to survive the wrath of its many adversaries, I decided I wanted to play my part in spreading the word on this wonderful sweetener that, despite its humility, has solid potential to become a part of everyday life for many people looking to live healthier lives and become sugar free, but don't know where or how to start.

A few months later, I stumbled onto this post on a blog called “The Wake-Up Cloud” that explained how the author’s girlfriend used a service called “Site Build It” to earn about $300 online every single month, just five months after she started her site. Wow, that fast?? And she did all that selling skin care products?? Then I found out she wasn’t selling these products herself, she was using “affiliate partners”: this basically meant that she put advertisements for skin care products on her site and the company that actually sold these products, would pay her a commission every time she made a sale through her website. She didn’t have to package or ship anything. She didn’t have to deal with dissatisfied customers. She just earned money by promoting another company’s products online! I couldn’t believe what I was reading. Now, I’m the most cautious person you’ll ever meet, especially when talking about “making money online” scams, and get-rich-quick schemes. I pondered every day for a full month before deciding to give SBI a try. In that time, I did the best I could to find negative reviews about SBI, but I just couldn’t find any.
