Stevia Helped me

by Ray Gutierrez III
(Riverside California)

Hello people.

Just a quick comment about the use of stevia opposed to other "Better for you" sweeteners (Glucose/asparteme).I am a 43 year old male burdened with Type 2 diabetes for three years now.

Among other things wrong with me the diabetes is a constant reminder of the way I did not take care of myself. Its little daily issues are an inconvenience and in some cases painful. When I mean painful I am talking about "DNP"=(Diabetic nerve pain).

It's the shooting (lighting) type pains I get daily thru my arms/hands/legs and feet."DNP" hurst so bad it can actually stop you in your tracks.Since I read about the cancer concerns and the way that the sweeteners were produced,Chlorine??

I stopped immediately.I am a commercial driver so I drank coffee with sweeteners at least 3 times a day. Since quitting (about 6 months ago) I started using stevia in my coffee and you can believe what you want but I have not had one incident yet that involved those god forsaken shooting pains.

They went away completely when I stopped using asparteme and glucose sweeteners!!!!!Call it what you like but I am sold on stevia and the benefits I have had since the switch.I am now looking into foods and deserts that are made with stevia.

Thanks for your time
